The Lost Generation (1918–1930s) consisted of a group of American writers - almost entirely made up of veterans - who had been disillusioned by the horrors of WWI. This group contained names like Hemingway (seen at right), Faulkner, Fitzgerald (in his later years), John Steinbeck, and John Dos Passos. After the war these writers deviated from traditional literary forms - like other modernists. This is however Rebecca's Topic so I'll leave it to her.
